My Week at a Glance

• We woke up to a winter wonderland right outside of our front door on Saturday morning.

It’s the first measurable snow that we’ve had in my area in a couple of years, so I was excited!

I’d say we had about 3″ at my house. We southerners don’t have the equipment that my friends up north have, so of course everything around town is shut down.

• A little life update. You may or may not have noticed that I haven’t been blogging as often as I’d like to the last few weeks.

I started two different medications – one right before Thanksgiving and the other mid-December and it has been a process, let me tell you.

It seems that the two don’t play nicely together, which left me with not much energy and some pretty unpleasant side effects.

Anyway, I’m slowly starting to feel like my old self, so hopefully, a final solution is at hand. Prayers are much appreciated!

Sunday Scripture

As we begin a brand new year, this is a verse that I hope to always keep at the forefront of my mind and heart.

So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 1st Corinthians 10:31, ESV

  1. Keeping you in my prayers for energy and healing with your Medication, Suzy.

  2. I’m sorry to hear of your struggles health wise. I had noticed you being less active but I’ve been dealing with my own new physical issues so I’m pretty behind on reading on line. That said I usually will click to your posts before others 🥰. I will put you in my prayers and I know there is always a lot that is left unsaid about health struggles when someone request prayer. You might send one up for me as well, this latest development is a real bugger!
