Welcome to The Weekly Muse, a behind the scenes look at weekly happenings, musings, and favorite things that caught my eye. I bet you’ll like them too!
My Week at a Glance
Wow – Christmas came and went in a flash. So fast in fact that I forgot to catch up with you last week!
Most of the entire week was spent prepping for our family Christmas party on that we hosted at our house on Saturday.
It’s always one of the highlights of the year and was a special time filled with lots of laughing, eating, and gift exchanging.
But obviously, there are those of us who still need to learn to pose for the camera.
Sunday Scripture
Even though I missed posting last week, it’s important to know that the theme for the fourth and final week of Advent is JOY.
Right before Christmas is a perfect time to reflect on the everlasting joy of the free gift of salvation that is made possible for everyone to receive when we accept Jesus Christ as our Saviour.
Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will take joy in the God of my salvation. Habakkuk 3:17-19, ESV
