The Weekly Muse: 29th Edition
Welcome to The Weekly Muse, a behind the scenes look at weekly happenings, musings, and favorite things that caught my eye. I bet you’ll like them too!
My Week at a Glance
Welp, we’re getting down to the wire when it comes to Christmas prep – less than two weeks to go!
I spent all day, wrapping gifts, on Saturday. So glad that’s done!
Of course, I had to snap a fast pic of Bella asking which one is hers??? I said, “None of them. You’re only getting coal until you are fully potty trained.”
My family’s Christmas party is this coming Saturday, so I’ll be spending the week prepping for that one.
Here’s a fun idea for any gatherings you host/attend or on Christmas morning. If you have a camera with a timer on it, set it on a tripod or a table, and set it to automatically take a picture every few seconds.
I did that one year and got some great candid shots.
How is your to-do list? Have you finished shopping? Decorating? Wrapping?
Sunday Scripture
The theme for the third week of Advent is love.
It’s the whole ready why God came down to earth to live with us and to be a sacrifice to offer us salvation.
“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22: 36-39, ESV
