My Week at a Glance

• Something exciting happened this week – WE GOT SNOW!!! I estimate that it was a whole 1/8″. Don’t be jealous.

My friends up north may find it comical, but many of us southerners get super excited when it snows even one flake – especially near Christmas!

And yes, some schools were closed, others were on a 2 hour delay. #WeDon’tKnowHowToDriveInSnow

• Other than that, it’s been a pretty quiet this week after Thanksgiving. My Christmas shopping is done and I’m super proud of myself of sticking to my budget.

Now to wrap it all. ugh

Sunday Scripture

The theme for this second Sunday of Advent is PEACE.

God created the world to be in perfect peace – it’s pretty obvious that isn’t the world we live in today.

The second coming of Christ promises that we will live on earth in a peace that surpasses all our understanding.

I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world. John 16:33, ESV
