The Weekly Muse: 26th Edition
Welcome to The Weekly Muse, a behind the scenes look at weekly happenings, musings, and favorite things that caught my eye. I bet you’ll like them too!
My Week at a Glance
Life has been so hectic for the last couple of weeks, that I wasn’t able to check in with you last week. Thank you to those who asked it I’m okay!
My life and my brain have been consumed with Christmas decorating and Thanksgiving prep. I had planned to have this year’s Christmas home tour up tomorrow, but life intervened when my daughter asked me to go to a few Christmas stores with them on Saturday.
Tip: If there’s any way possible, don’t turn down invitations from your adult children. Life is fleeting, the days are long, but the years are short. I’m so glad that I listened to my heart.
But, I’ll at least give you a sneak peak of my tree.
Hopefully, I’ll be able to post this year’s tour on Wednesday, but if you’re dying to see a Christmas home tour right now, feel free to take a look at some of last year’s decorations.
Sunday Scripture
It’s sooooo easy to lose sight of what Christmas is all about in all of the hustle and bustle of the Reason for the Season, isn’t it?
Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14, ESV
