Style Showcase 63 | How To Transition From Christmas To Winter, Kitchen Organizing Tips & More!
Welcome to the Style Showcase, your weekly digest for home decor inspiration.
We’re kicking off the brand new year with a bang by sharing lots of amazing decorating ideas. This week’s digest includes 5 ways to transition from Christmas to winter decor, simple kitchen organizing tips and ideas, how to make hanging moss ball planters, how to paint wood furniture without sanding first, another transition from Christmas to winter and directions for how to style a console table.
The week between Christmas and New Years always seems kind of odd to me. I never quite know what to do with myself. We did go ahead and tackle a project that’s been on my list though – getting started on our foyer makeover. The makeover started with us taking down the gallery wall hanging in the stairwell and prepping the wall for the addition of board and batten to it. Things were going along nicely until I realized that I made a bad call on how high to take the board and batten and we wound up having to tear part of it out. Ugh! The demo went better than I thought it would though – thank goodness! Now we’ve added all the boards and prepped the wall so that we can repair where the sheetrock was damaged when we pulled off some of the originals. I’ve been sharing all about the process over in my Instagram stories, if you’d like to follow along with my foyer misadventures. 🙂 I sure do hope this isn’t an indication of how all of my projects will go during 2021!
