I don’t know about where you live, but March is definitely roaring in like a lion around here. The wind has been ferocious and so loud!
Yesterday, I had surgery to remove a bone spur on my heel. It was supposed to happen in January, but for one one reason or another, it was rescheduled two times.
I’m glad it’s over, the surgery went well, and now I have to completely stay off of that foot for eight weeks. Here’s praying that I don’t get a bad attitude and drive my caretaker husband batty. haha
It may not be home decor related, but if you or someone you know is facing foot surgery, I’ve put together a list of all the items that I’m counting on to help during my recovery.
Now let’s talk about something a whole lot more interesting – inspiring ideas for your home!

So sorry about your surgery. I had surgery last October to set a broken ankle and had to be off my right foot for 7 weeks, so I can identify with your situation. I’m still in therapy since you have to basically learn to walk again after being so immobile for so long. I called it “my sabbatical” and got caught up on a lot of reading, small crafts, etc. My hubby has been a wonderful caregiver. Hang in there and a speedy recovery.
Thank you so much, Leslie! Yours was more serious than mine – ouch! Mine was simply to remove bone spurs and repair the achilles tendon on my right foot. Thank goodness for those caregiving hubbies!
