3 Ways to Display Plates for Fall
Plate racks are so fun and easy to decorate! Here are three simple yet stylish ways to decorate yours for fall.
With each new fall season comes new inspiration and a new way to display some of my favorites.
Not only are the plates that you display on it a good way to complement the overall decor of a room, they’re fun to change up seasonally!
This year I was inspired by brown and white checked plates that I stumbled across at Michaels.
Blue and brown is such a pretty color combination and they look great paired with the pumpkin plates from Hobby Lobby that I purchased a couple of years ago.
Here’s another fall look combining vibrant orange with the dark blue.
When I ran across these vintage Imari plates at a local consignment store, inspiration struck yet again.
These two colors look fantastic together and that are a classic color combination for fall.
Don’t limit yourself to just plates! Make your plate rack display more interesting by mixing in other elements in too.
Here, I added three complimentary vases and blue velvet pumpkins to the shelves.
This display is a good example of not reinventing the wheel when adding seasonal touches around your home.
To create this fall look, I simply added two pumpkin plates to the existing blue and white ones.
Seasonal decorating couldn’t be any easier!
As you can see, you can keep the fall decor simple on your plate rack or get as creative as you choose.
Look for something that inspires you so that you can transform an ordinary plate display into a striking feature!
I love your velvet pumpkins. Do you happen to have a pattern or tutorial for them?
Hi Nancy. Believe it or not, those came from the dollar store a couple of years ago. Sorry I don’t have a link for you!
Thanks for showing the little blue shelf with the plate hanging above. I have several plates and shelfs but had never thought of combining them.
So glad you found some inspiration!
